This Women’s Day, we are proud to celebrate Helen Mesfin — a phenomenal woman whose voice, leadership, and dedication continue to uplift and inspire our community.

Through her work as the host and creator of The Helen Show, Helen has built a powerful platform that highlights important conversations within the Ethiopian community and diaspora. She uses her voice not only to inform and educate, but to uplift stories that deserve to be heard.

Helen has also been an incredible supporter of Helaz Beauty, and her encouragement has contributed to our growth along the way. Today we celebrate her impact and the example she sets for women everywhere.

The Madam Ambassador Program (MAP) empowers young women to lead with purpose, confidence, and global awareness.

We had an incredible time at the Madam Ambassador event last Saturday, March 7. Our founder, Helen, was honored to be one of the guest speakers and to be part of a space dedicated to empowering girls and women to step into their strength and leadership.

During the event, she shared her journey with Helaz Beauty and spoke about her experiences as a mother, software engineer, sister, and wife. Her message was simple but powerful: women can achieve anything if they are given the opportunity and if they truly know their value.
