November 2024 has been a serious whirlwind for me. I moved my private nail studio from Chevy Chase, MD to Silver Spring, MD and it was challenging to say the least but I did it! I realized that it was time to honor myself in a work space that financially and energetically was in my best interest so the ancestors provided me the opportunity to move my nail business back to where I began in 1987 after I left Los Angeles to attend Howard University. I turned 60 on 11/24 and had a fabulous trip to Cartagena, Columbia. OMG!!! I’m definitely going back! My clients that followed me during this transition are the best. I worked at home for a week, went on my trip, worked back at home for a couple days, moved into my new studio and my handyman moved plus set up all of my nail furniture…….Y’all! Your girl is exhausted and super busy with clients and extremely happy! I truly love my clients because they have the best energy and the ones that don’t, eventually remove themselves with no problem from me about it. I’m available to serve with absolute peace and pleasure. I’m a child of Obatala and Em Hotep means “in peace” so I’m about that life.
