In the hair space, Sheltons Hair Salon is an institution. It is the premiere location for style, beauty and healthy hair. It has been my preferred salon since the age of 15. For women everywhere, their hair is their “crown”. So there was no question who would be by my side when I was crowned Ms. Teen of the Nation. Shelton, continued with me on my journey on the national stage of Miss MD USA, and Miss VA USA. The salon was later selected as the style team for Howard University’s Annual Fashion Show, and most notably as the hair sponsor for the 2005 Miss Black USA, where I served as the Executive Director. This was the first year the pageant was televised and he and his style team ensured all 48 contestants were television ready. He never disappoints and to this day I return to my favorite salon whenever I am in the Washington area. No one does hair better than Sheltons Hair Salon!!!!!!
