As most of you have seen Ventura County has officially been released to open Hair Salons (this does NOT include Nail techs, Lash techs, and Estheticians). I know you are all VERY excited to finally be able to get your hair done, and I am as equally excited to see your faces. But that also comes with some hesitation. We are still in the process of figuring out what are new guidelines are per State Board and the County. We were completely blindsided by the Governors announcement today (I found out from a client who watched the press conference). We have been told all along we were looking at months before we were able to reopen. With all that said, I will be contacting everyone that I have written down who has contacted me over the last few weeks. If you don't hear from me in the next few days please reach out via text 818-233-2664. I will do my VERY best to get everyone in in a timely manner. I'm just asking that everyone please be patient. I appreciate all of my clients so much and thank each and every one of you who have reached out, paid deposits, and who have supported me and my family during all of this. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
What I do know:
-I will ask that everyone come prepared with their own face masks to wear for the duration of their service(s). You cannot receive any services with out a face mask.
-You will be asked to take your temp. at the door before entering the building.
-I will temporarily be eliminating blow drying services until the salon is able to function without any restrictions. So if you are coming in for just a cutting service feel free to come washed and dried ahead of time, I will happily style after with a flat iron or curling iron if you need. Unfortunately for any color services please plan on leaving damp.
I'm sure there will be other requirements issued by State Board and the County, this is the clarification we are waiting for to open next week.

Just a friendly reminder, we are Licensed Professionals with 1600 hours, not including any continued education we have paid for out of pocket over the years. We are CERTIFIED on how to clean, sanitize and disinfect EVERYTHING. Our license is completely based on our abilities to perform services safely and sanitarily. So, just in case anyone was worried, I went ahead and got re-certified on how to clean, sanitize and disinfect. And on a not so serious note... enjoy the funny meme. 😍🤷🏼‍♀️🤪🤞🏼

I hope you all are hanging in there during these crazy times of uncertainty. I have been brainstorming these last couple weeks to try and figure out what to do as a small business.
