I got to do hair and makeup for this wonderful bride today and I can’t WAIT to see the official photos! Such a joyful and fun day- I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!

✨Boho Bliss✨ I just got a sample shot from this bride and I am STOKED with how her hair turned out!! It was absolute boho perfection with mermaid waves and big twists ❤️ we all had so much fun and I’m so glad I got to do hair and be a part of this wedding thru !

I had the honor of doing a brides hair at the studio yesterday for her wedding 💕She and her husband were headed to the Santa Barbara courthouse from LA and got dressed and ready here at the studio! It was incredibly special to be a small part of their day, and it truly lifted my spirits and warmed my heart! I also had the challenge of turning a beautiful Hermès scarf into a mask and tucking the ends into her hair- so now I can put that on my resume 😝

This is always one of my favorite shots from weddings- it seems to capture such a quiet moment alone for the bride before all the festivities really begin! Plus I love how it always shows off the hair and makeup beautifully! ❤️ Photo by ❤️

🌿Elopements and Micro-Weddings🌿
No matter what the trouble is in the world, one things that will always prevail is love. If this wedding season doesn’t show that then I don’t know what does! So many couples are deciding to move forward with their wedding, but not in a traditional way and I personally think it’s beautiful. It is intimate, quiet, and cherished between the few in attendance, and less stressful and overwhelming to plan. It brings the focus exactly to where it should be- the couple and the marriage! I can’t wait to be open to the public; you bet as soon as I’m able I’ll have a celebratory open house! In the meantime, I’m taking time to perfect everything about Bonnie Lass Beauty (updating my contract, getting a good filing system in place etc) and also launching Bonnie Lass Creations- I’m definitely keeping myself busy! It’s a tough time for non-essential workers, and if I didn’t keep busy in some way I would definitely be feeling a lot more sadness than I already am.
