Ever felt stuck?! Imagine this....⠀

Laid off 2 times in 2 years from the medical field only to end up unemployed for 20 months.⠀

Can you imagine having a job since the day you turned 15, only to be told by restaurants you were overqualified and they didn’t want to waste their training budget on someone that would just leave.⠀

I waited tables for 6 years and put myself through Clemson that way, so what in the what!!!⠀

I absolutely had no clue 3.5 years ago at my kitchen table. During nap times. Before my girls woke up. In the midst of working full-time and having 2 babes under 2, this hobby would turn into this.⠀

Never did I dream of being a mom boss.⠀

Never did I dream that I would help hundreds of women just by sharing my story all while creating a community ready to cheer one another on through this crazy life.⠀

Never did I dream I would be able to change the trajectory of our family’s financial situation because frankly job loss has been prevalent in our 16.5 year marriage.⠀

I’m so grateful to have the chance to mentor ladies like you to do the same. To change life from the inside, out. To bring light where there may have been darkness.⠀

Easy meals are my jam. Every week, I like to have some type of protein on hand to make roll ups, add to my salad or even make a cold quinoa salad with. This chicken is super easy and my girls even love it with rice and small mixed veggies.

Sticky Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs⠀
⠀
Ingredients:⠀
👉🏻 2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs roughly 10⠀
👉🏻 1/3 cup of honey ⠀
👉🏻 1/3 cup of low sodium soy sauce⠀
👉🏻 6 cloves of minced garlic ⠀
👉🏻 2 TBSP of apple cider vinegar⠀
👉🏻 1.5 TBSP of Worcestershire sauce⠀
👉🏻 2 tsp of sesame oil ⠀
⠀
Mix together and cook on low for 4-5 hours.⠀
⠀
After cooking add 2 TBSP of cornstarch mixed with 3-4 TBSP of water to thicken the sauce. Can add green onion for garnish. (I imagine you could use any type of chicken for this, like breasts)⠀
⠀
Serve over grain of your choice and veggies. Sauce is delicious on the entire meal.⠀
⠀
We will be having this with roasted Brussel sprouts and brown rice.⠀
⠀
