This small group class is designed for people who feel stiff, tight or intimidated by a traditional yoga class. Each session begins with simple breathing and centering followed by gentle, alignment-focused movements to help improve mobility, balance, and overall comfort. Led by a physical therapist and yoga teacher, this class emphasizes safe, approachable movement with options for all levels.
No prior experience is needed.
Class size is limited to 6 people. Please bring your own mats and props if you have them. There will be a limited number available to those who do not have their own.

Welcome Shanya 🙌💯
Shanya completed her yoga teacher training in 2006 and taught for several years before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Her goal was to deepen her understanding of how the body moves, heals, and thrives.
Throughout Shanya’s nearly 15 years as a PT, yoga has remained a cornerstone of her practice. She has helped patients bridge the gap between rehab and the mat, showing them how to modify poses to feel safe and empowered in their own bodies. Now she is returning to her roots by blending physical therapy principles with the practice of yoga. Her current focus is on working with those who feel stiff, limited, or intimidated by traditional yoga classes. Through supportive, small group and private sessions she helps her students move with renewed ease and confidence
