Today looked a little different than a typical day in the treatment room, and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it! 💙

Today I had the opportunity to attend the South Dakota Association Healthcare Convention, where I got to provide chair massages to fellow healthcare workers. It was such a great experience getting to meet and connect with so many amazing people who spend their days caring for others.

I also got to step away from the chair and enjoy a little bit of the convention myself! I donated blood, got to hang out with some therapy dogs 🐾, and learned a little about the evolution of healthcare and how far we’ve come.

It was truly such a wonderful day filled with learning, connecting, giving back, and being reminded just how special the healthcare community is.

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be there and honored that I got to play a small part in taking care of the people who spend so much of their time taking care of everyone else. 💆🏼‍♀️💙

Definitely a day I won’t forget! ✨

As today comes to an end, I just want to say thank you to everyone who shared their stories with me today. 🤍

Being born after 9/11, I don’t have my own memories or experiences from that day to share, and I know I can never fully understand what it was like to live through it.

But hearing everyone’s stories, memories, and emotions today has been incredibly meaningful. Thank you for allowing me to listen, learn, and better understand a day that shaped so many lives.
