Look what we made together!! We are simply Terran it up over here and making magic.

She still needs a little bit of work, but I have been moving mountains with this pregnancy. A new sanctuary is on the way and inspired by ocean Jasper *self expression* *optimism* *healing* *protection* *happiness* *go with the flow* *appreciation* & *inner peace*
Being 31 weeks pregnant and putting in the work so I can have a gentle post partum, with out stress of making it back to work immediately, and being able to provide a space for me to trade with a little one by my side.

The headspace is always shifting and changing, creating magic with my fingers and mind. Thank you all for being in this small, yet profound chapter of my life. Better things will come around. As I will be bringing another sacred life into this world, I will have a new sacred space to create a better headspace. This is my last week at 2nd Ave Salon Studios. It has been a ride full of ups and downs while diving into Sioux Falls and working with one of the best salon teams around. Stay tuned as this sand castle gets washed away by the waves and I rebuild a new one. Sending love and gratitude to all of you who have supported me and my family on this journey. My story isn’t over yet.

My Last tenative week In the studio before breaking my set up apart and packing the crumbs is the week of March 10-14 and have some appointments available that week as well, but claim these spots first before i go into caccoon mode.

Wednesday 2/26 @ 12:45pm for a cut and color

Haircut Openings: Tuesday March 4th at 10 or 11:45am
Wednesday March 5th at 9 & 9:45am

We went for the 24” install this time and freshened up her natural blonde color. Simply stunning 😍

I put in my notice to leave 2nd Ave Salon Suites. I will be leasing the space for the next 8 weeks. That is all of the information I have right now. With the pressure of being a mom of a new born again and being able to take a leave from work, and worrying about affordability, it seems like the right thing to do right now for myself. It has not been an easy decision and I will always have the passion of hair artistry running through my veins, I will just be doing it differently. I am talented and I am trusting the universe in my decision to step away from the suite rental life. The SD cosmetology commission is not going to be allowing sub-leasing or chair sharing in the state anymore, and that was a factor in my decision making as well.

I put a whole lotta love into that suite and the team at 2nd Ave is one of the best salon teams in the entire state and I will miss them dearly, but life is turning my direction in another way and I will continue to use my skill sets in ways that allow me in this industry and economy.

So be patient with me until I turn the next page. 💕💕💕

My world is shifting and have closed my books online and have adjust openings for 2 weeks ahead at a time. I have been working part time in the mornings until early afternoon most days during the weeks, just to keep myself busy and have some what of a stable income. January is always the slowest month for hair stylists. This last year has been the slowest I have ever been behind the chair, and the economy is ever shifting and evolving. It is always a wild time being self employed and working around the clock, even when I am not physically working on clients.

With this shift, I keep finding myself with this feeling of beating my head against a wall. It is the time to manifest again and sing my song and awaken myself back up. The days are getting longer and the pregnancy sickness is dwindling, however I am still tired AF and only capable of so much during the time which allows me to be productive. So bear with me while I figure it out.

I am creative, I am hard working, I have an amazing family, I am loyal and dedicated, and lately, I have been feeling defeated. It won’t keep me down.
