We spent some time in the NICU to gain some weight, but didn't really have issues.

We are home. We are tired, but home ❤️

Sun glasses help.

Sunglasses definitely help!

Alright! Not the post I wanted to share. But...

I am in the hospital. I was told id remain here untill deliverying baby at 32 weeks (if we make it that far). I am currently 29 and a half weeks.

If by chance they do let me go home for a week or so... I will still not be able to work. They said I could "mom" but that I could not work.

So I am out for the time being :( they said to expect baby to stay in the nicu till close to her due date beginning of April give or take a week or 2. During this time I will be recovering, balancing nicu life, caring for my toddler (she is 3 TODAY), getting baby things ready, and trying to keep up a supply to nurse.

Once she is home, I plan on having 8 weeks with her. So this will be kind of a long little break and id expect to be back in the salon in June. That seems FOREVER AWAY, but ill update here and there.

There are 3 girls there that do great work and can get you taken care of and their schedules are a little more flexible than mine has been! So change the days and times if something works better for you!

I do have color formulas and placements in the computer as well as some haircut notes too! So this should help!

Happy New Year Yall! This is a long one!

I just wanted to thank every single person that has been and/or continues to sit in my chair and choose me! I could not work in this industry without you!

The last almost 19 years has been amazing! Doing your hair is my passion! I cannot wait to see what the rest of year 19 brings and what is in store for year 20!

I do occasionally run behind, and I give you as much notice as possible! Part of my daily work prayer is to deliver services far above my clients expectations! I respect you and I do know all too well, that your time is valuable.

☆☆☆My first paycheck after Christmas, was cut by 60%. And the reason is:

I had quite a few last minute, even day-of cancelations, and a couple no shows in December and early January. It seems like more than I have had in an entire year!

I know December is busy, and money is spread thin for everyone. I am just like everyone else - I am not immune to that.

I do need as much notice as possible if you cannot make your appointment. ☆☆☆

I completely understand weather. And I know stuff happens. I appreciate you keeping your sickness out of the salon. And I know sometimes the money is just not there.

If I have more notice, I can spend more time with my daughter. I can come in late, I can leave early. That is *if* I can shift people around. But ideally, with enough notice, I can book another client that is waiting to get taken care of.

Im not sure if it is realized or not, but on Mondays, I get about 1 hour in the morning of quality time with my daughter. And spend about 1.5-2 hours getting her and myself ready, getting our stuff ready for the day, and getting her dropped off. By the time I get home, she is in bed. I do work long hours Monday by choice, because doing 3 days was not working for us.

If you cannot make your appointment, I am asking that you give me as much notice as possible so I can make the best use of the time that I spend away from my family.
