did you know that mead is often considered the world's oldest alcoholic beverage? long before wine or beer came onto the scene, ancient cultures were fermenting honey, water, and yeast, creating a rich history that spans thousands of years and crosses countless civilizations.
while our own heritage hives mead isn't quite ready for the public yet, there are two fantastic local options you can try right here in south dakota to celebrate: panacea and big lost!

🐝 beeswax candles are such a great way to elevate a space or bring some beautiful scent to a room. we currently have 2 scent choices:
🍯 simple + sweet (unscented)
🍊 citrus + area.

in case you didn't know, beeswax has a naturally sweet, honey aroma. so when we say unscented, what we really mean is that we did not add any essential oils. the lovely scent you smell is simply natural beeswax.
since we don't have hives- yet- our honey and beeswax are sourced from local beekeepers in the sioux falls

just finished up my post market inventory...
we sold 21 of these little lip balms yesterday, and we only have 6 left! as the formulator and maker of this little product, i could legitimately cry with how grateful i am that so many of you loved it. we had samples of our skin balms and lip balm out, and almost every single person who tried the lip balm bought at least one—that is just amazing! many of you also picked up one of our skin balms, as well.
i was so beyond excited to share the simple, clean ingredients behind our products, and you responded right back, showing just how much quality, time, and intentional ingredients mean to you as well. thank you so much.

that is a wrap! we had such a great time at the honey bee festival- and our very first market. thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hi, bought a product, tried a product, took a card... we are so thankful we got to share a piece of our heart and mission with you.
