My client came in with hair that was already short, but the previous cut had grown out unevenly. Instead of holding onto uneven areas simply for the sake of keeping length, I reshaped her existing short cut and removed the imbalance.

The goal wasn't to make her hair shorter. It was to give her a more even, intentional shape so she can move forward with a healthier-looking grow-out.
Now her hair has a better foundation, a balanced shape, and a style she can enjoy while gaining length. 🤎

From box-dye black to a softer, intentional gray transition. 🤎🩶

My client came in with years of dark box color through her hair and natural gray growing in at the roots. Her goal was not to cover the gray again. She wants to grow her hair out and begin embracing it.

Instead of coloring everything one solid shade, I started removing the previous black color and brightened her hair into this warm, dimensional tone while intentionally leaving some of her natural gray visible.

The result is a much softer transition between the previously colored hair and her new growth. Her gray doesn't look like something that needs to be hidden. It now looks like part of the color.

And as her hair continues to grow, we can keep adjusting the color so the transition becomes even more natural over time.

If you're growing out dark color and you're ready to embrace your gray, you don't necessarily have to choose between covering it again or cutting all of your colored hair off.
