Sometimes as hairstylists, we don’t always hit the mark the first time.

My client came in wanting a more dimensional blonde with lowlights to break up some of the brightness and warmth she already had. My first attempt just wasn’t what she envisioned. She left unsatisfied, and honestly, it kept me up all night.

Thankfully, she trusted my work enough to come back the very next day, and with communication, honesty, and grace, we got her exactly where she wanted to be. 🤍

In this industry, perfection doesn’t exist. There are always unknown variables when it comes to hair. What matters most is how you handle it. Communication, accountability, and confidence in your ability to produce quality work will save you time, money, product, and most importantly, trust with your clients.

At the end of the day, you’re only as good as your last client.
