☀️ Summer Schedule Update ☀️

Beginning June 8th, I will be transitioning to my summer hours and making a few changes to scheduling. Due to the influx of last minute cancellations and no shows I have decided to make a few changes.

To allow flexibility for my personal commitments and medical appointments, I will no longer be pre-scheduling appointments more than 14 days in advance.

If you reach out more than 14 days before your desired appointment, I will add you to my VIP Scheduling List. Once you’re on the list, I’ll contact you 14 days prior to your requested appointment timeframe to get you scheduled.

This weekend we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Wishing everyone a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. ❤️🤍💙

I will be out of the salon Saturday, May 23rd - Monday, May 25th. I will return Tuesday, May 26th at 7:30 am. All phone calls and text messages will be returned on Tuesday! If you need to schedule an appointment , text or call, 985.718.8991.

My first day back behind the chair was yesterday, and the amount of love, support, patience, and kindness I received truly meant more than I can put into words. Thank you to everyone who has checked on me, reached out, continued to support my business, and shown up for me during a really difficult season.

The last two weeks have honestly felt like living in the Twilight Zone, and I’m still trying to process everything that’s happened. But yesterday reminded me just how loved and supported I truly am.

There are a few things I’d like to clear up:

• I AM still working behind the chair and currently located in Suite 121 (my private single suite in the back).
• I was NOT shut down due to “failing inspection.” The situation was completely unrelated to inspection issues.
• My landlord is fully aware of everything going on, and it is actively being handled appropriately.
• My availability is extremely limited right now due to ongoing health-related issues, so I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while I navigate this season.

At this time, there are still parts of this situation I cannot publicly speak on or fully share. When the time comes and I’m able to tell my story, I absolutely will. Until then, I ask for grace, understanding, and kindness while I continue handling things privately and professionally.

This season has been overwhelming in more ways than one, but I’m incredibly grateful for the clients and community who continue to support me through it all. Thank you for allowing me the space to handle life while still doing what I love.

Last week, State Board came into the salon and temporarily shut down my workspace. I handled what needed to be handled, and as of now, I am back up and running in my single suite - 121

To say the last 5 days felt heavy would be an understatement.

During that time, I’ve heard a lot of opinions and assumptions about me and my business:“unprofessional”“dramatic”“unorganized”“unsuccessful”

So I’d like to clear a few things up respectfully and directly:

• I did NOT lose my license.• I was moved back into my previous single suite.• I DO have to go to court regarding the situation.• I WILL fight it.• And I WILL overcome it.

Running a business publicly means people will create their own narratives, especially during difficult moments. But one hard season does not erase years of hard work, passion, loyalty, growth, and the relationships I’ve built behind the chair.

To the clients, friends, and people who checked on me, hugged me while I cried, encouraged me, and reminded me this is not the end of the road — thank you. I will never forget it.

And to those who chose to move elsewhere because the situation felt too chaotic or uncertain, I genuinely wish you nothing but the best. I hope your new salon home gives you everything you’re looking for.

This season may have humbled me, stretched me, and tested me, but it has not defeated me.

I’m still here. Still licensed. Still standing. And still doing what I love.

To the moms doing everything for everyone else while running on cold coffee, dry shampoo, and pure survival mode — I see you.
To the moms healing, grieving, trying, learning, carrying the invisible weight, and still showing up every single day — you deserve to be celebrated too.

Motherhood comes in so many forms, and today I hope you let yourself slow down long enough to actually feel loved, appreciated, and cared for.

I’ll be unplugging from social media and stepping away from business until Tuesday to spend time soaking in the people who matter most and giving myself a little space to rest and reset too.

Messages and inquiries will be returned when I’m back in the salon Tuesday. Until then, I hope your weekend is full of good food, deep breaths, belly laughs, and at least one hot cup of coffee for once.
