One of the biggest things this work has taught me is that you never really know what someone is carrying.

Every person who walks through my door has a story.
Some are exhausted.
Some are grieving.
Some are overwhelmed.
Some are simply trying to hold everything together for the people they love.

And for a little while, I get to create a space where they can finally breathe.

That’s something I never want to take for granted.
