💖I hope certain colors or textures bring you joy today 🥰

☀️ Are y’all so excited about this 100 degree weather!!!! I just love being moist and hot and feeling like fried chicken. That’s why I’ve been warming up peoples hair a lot lately. It all makes sense 💛 🧡 🩷

Somehow I can still take good photos with an “old” phone. I loved this color because I could use permanent color to lift her natural hair slightly and blend it out while adding a few natural highlights. It gives a nice warm sun-kissed look 👀 ❤️

Another two years has gone by already! Opening VIVID has been such a great experience. There are few times in life where you can fulfill your destiny and this has definitely been one of those experiences. The simplicity and reduced sensory overload have been amazing. Also, for many years, I was hesitant to not share too much of myself to maintain a certain level of professionalism. After losing my mom, last year, vulnerability was a necessary evil. I’ve learned that none of us are exempt from loss or struggles. Mental health is a journey that reaches and teaches us all.
With 23yrs of doing hair now, I know I am lucky to hear the wealth of knowledge and experience others have. My story of an orb floating in the trees, shortly after my mom passed, gave way to many amazing stories that have expanded my thought beyond fathoming. In these conversations I have found care, creativity, and depth of the soul that I hold with so much love. There is nothing better than to be creative all while vulnerability sits in my chair. In a sometimes cruel world, together we can light things up.
Thank you for the constant reminder that humans are inherently good and that care and support for others is a necessity we must continue to build. Each one of these beautiful souls, among others, have brought so much to my life and I am inspired greatly. ❤️
Thank you for walking through my doors and trusting me. And thank you for allowing me to practice my creative endeavors! This year is looking like embracing your natural colors and exploring accenting fun will be the inspiration. I promise those angel hairs aren’t so bad. 😉I have a few ideas I must do! 💛
