We send our deepest condolences to the family of legend and icon Dolly Parton. She is someone we should all strive to be: generous, caring, funny, kind, accepting, and most of all genuine. She is proof that you can make something from nothing. She lived her life authentically, the way she wanted to regardless of what anyone thought. You never heard a bad word about her.... spending her time and money making her family and by extension the world, a better place. She was a legend, covered in rhinestones, with the biggest smile around. Rest in peace beautiful lady. We will always love you

As part of the Smyrna community, we at the spa are saddened to hear about the damage done by the storm last night in our neighboring area in Dover.

We will be reaching out to see if there is anything we can do. As a small business, we can absolutely offer our hands for help. Please feel free to link in the comments: organizations that are aiding in the cleanup or efforts to comfort the individuals put out of their homes.

We as a community are only as strong as the people in it.

We hope everyone is safe at this time and are holding positive space for everyone involved in last nights storm.

Every year I post about our fearless leader and every year it's a hit. But I will keep it short this year. In the last 12 months, only a small handful of people see what goes on behind the scenes. Val never veers away from who she truly is as a person whether people like it or not. Those who look past her prickly exterior find this person who will love you and show up for you. She will and has shown that if you are her people, she will go to the ends of the earth for you. Clients, friends, her inner circle..... doesn't matter who. Its been a long year, full of change, and having to adjust and readjust. Today is a special day because we get another year of her funny stories, laughs and jokes. Buy her coffee (her venmo is VALLE08/ZELLE is the spa phone) or tell her you love her. She is truly one of the most genuine humans I have ever met. She might kill me this year for giving out her venmo but we have to keep her caffeine supply up🤣
