Stress Stress Stress Stress Stress! Let's talk!
Stress can lead to various health issues, including anxiety and heart disease. Understanding how stress affects the body is crucial for maintaining overall wellness and preventing chronic illnesses.
Let's face it we live in a world that is overly stressful. It's important to understand how to deal and cope with life as it happens. This post will help you understand what the term stress is the number one killer really means. There are three types of stress the body undergoes, mental stress, physical stress and metabolic stress.
Our bodies have two modes, on or off. While our bodies are on it requires certain fuel to sustain this state and it also needs to transition to the off state in order to recharge. When your body is not able to balance this motion from on to off this creates a metabolic imbalance which puts a tremendous amount of stress on the body.
Mental stress is the common stress that everyone associates as being the number one killer, however in comparison to the rest this kind of stress triggers the metabolic which can lead to physical stress.
The last type of stress is physical stress. This occurs when the body itself sustains physical damage or trauma, this can occur on a metabolic level as well dysfunctions occurs to the level of irreversible organ damage.
Check out our resources under labs section to see how you can identify what area of stress your bodies is currently in!
