It was so good to reconnect with my fellow “Over 40 & Fabulous” alumni, celebrate with our amazing Best Self team, and cheer on this year’s inspiring Top 40 candidates. The energy in the room was nothing short of uplifting and proof that life after 40 is full of power, purpose, and beauty.

Now the big question remains… Who will rise into the Top 10, and whose journey will land them on the cover?

Feeling grateful to be part of this empowering community that proves age is just the beginning of our best chapter. 💫

✨ Food for Thought ✨

The lack of patience to truly learn the battleground before acting is costly. Rushing without context, without reading things in their entirety, can set you back further than you realize. Sometimes the wisdom you need is already written, if only you pause long enough to take it in.

Past behavior? It’s usually the clearest indicator of character. Don’t ignore it. Don’t excuse it.

In my book Strategic Grace, I talk about the power of moving with grace, even when the world tries to pull you out of that space. Grace is strategy. Grace is protection.

Emotional vampires + energy leaks are real. If you’re chasing a dream or stepping into a new chapter, pay close attention to the council you seek. Not everyone around you is rooting for your rise, some thrive on draining your focus.

Do the mirror check: Why are you choosing to surround yourself with people who leak your energy instead of those who show you the blueprint to win? Notice how energy leaks rarely highlight their own lives, they only distract from yours.

Remember: your path is already written. But the company you keep can delay your arrival. Guard your circle. Protect your purpose.
