👹 Surgery was last Thursday so I’m not quite one week post-op. Pain is pretty obnoxious but I had a lot going on and basically ended up with an entire surgical foot makeover.
I believe doc said my ankle tendon was “macerated.” 🤣 Huh, I guess that’s what all the swelling was from.

My shadow
He follows me wherever I go 🖤 Maverick is such a funny kitty! 🐈⬛ He is my curious, adventurous cat, into anything and everything. Always eager to check stuff out.
Both Maverick and Goose have so much personality.
They are my second pair of male litter mates and I lucked out with all of them. Mavs and Gooser remind me so much of my other buddies. Every once in a while I wonder if they came back for one of their 9 lives 😉

Christmas Tulips
I received these beautiful white tulips from one of my favorite people last week. 🤍
Too bad they don’t last long. This was the only thing making it look a little like the holidays around here.
I’m not sure Christmas is coming this year...
I’ve always been such a holiday girl. I love Christmas! Usually I can’t wait to decorate and make everything bright and merry. This year is really throwing me off though.
Business is busy which is great. It is so fun helping people purchase gift cards and I’m excited for the recipients of those gifts to come and see me! But, somehow it just doesn’t feel like Christmas to me.
At home there are no lights outside, no tree and obviously no plans to see family. I guess 2020 is finally catching up with me and got me feeling a little lonely on this gray, rainy, wet Monday.
