The Legend of the Moon Rabbit
It’s the Mid-Autumn Festival! 🏮
Have you ever wondered why a little white rabbit is associated with the full moon?
Long ago, a little white rabbit encountered a starving old man. Having nothing to offer him, the rabbit selflessly leapt into a fire, offering himself as food.
But the old man was actually a heavenly deity in disguise. Deeply moved by the rabbit’s kindness and sacrifice, he granted him immortality and placed him on the moon, where he would live forever. 🌙
And so, every Mid-Autumn Festival, we look up at the luminous full moon and remember the little white rabbit whose selfless act earned him a place in the heavens.

When I see the Statue of Liberty, I think of the generations of immigrants who saw her as a symbol of hope, opportunity, freedom, and the chance to build a better future.
