Something BIG is happening !!

Over the last couple months I have been working behind the scenes to level up my career. With life shifting and the desire to spend even more time with my family, I made a big girl decision.

In a matter of just a few weeks (hopefully) I will be opening the doors to my salon. That’s right. I’ve come a long way from “never wanting to own my own salon”. Anyone that knows me and has sat in my chair has heard it a million times. But I’m ready now.

Last week, I attended a city hall board meeting to get the approval of having a commercial business on my property. I left that day with a smile welded to my face.

It’s bittersweet, really. I’m starting a new era of my career, I get to be home with my son even more, but this meant having to step down from the place I’ve called home for 3 years. Studio 27 has been so wonderful. I’ve met so many beautiful human beings and created relationships with my coworkers that will forever stick with me. I didn’t want to leave, but sometimes life shifts and we have to find our way.

Thank you to everyone that’s been in my corner from day one. Whether you’re a client, old or new, a coworker, my family, friends etc. I couldn’t have done this without you.

I am happy to announce that I will be returning to Dunlap and opening the doors to Wolfsmane Hair Co.
My salon will be appointment based, so walk in appointments will unfortunately be unavailable. I’ve always taken walk-ins, but with my salon being on my home property, I want to avoid people randomly showing up at any time of the day. I will be making a separate post and pinning it to my personal page as well as this one containing all specifics of working hours, salon details etc very soon. The salon is about half built on the inside as of today.

It’s been a long couple months of anticipation and hard work. I’ve been documenting everything so I will be posting content 🙂

Thank you all, again. I love each and every one of you. My biggest thank yous go to my boyfriend Dakota, my bestfriend Danielle who’s kept my head above water, my mom, dad and grandmother, my dear friend Cat for her encouragement to pursue what life throws at me next, and finally Angie. Thank you for giving me a salon to call home the last 3 years. This isn’t goodbye. I know I’m not totally gone and will be visiting a few times a month, but my heart still breaks to have to step down. She has been a rock for me. So many laughs, lessons and life things. I will carry those moments forever.

Until my place is set up, I will be taking existing appointments at Studio 27 on Angie’s days off as I will be using her station now that my old chair has a wonderful new occupant 🙂. All appointments will remain on eastern time until the switch over is made. Then all appointments will be on central time.

Along with May promotions, I have decided to set in place a new structure for my business. Life can be a little crazy as we know, so making time for ourselves and our families is very important to prioritize.

Starting today, when the moon rises, I recharge my magic. Any messages received after 7pm will be returned the next day 🤍 This will allow me to unwind with my family just a little bit better. Knowing all of my wonderful clients, this new structure will be well received.
