Jessica Hanley is a genuine and exciting element in the high-end salon world. Now, with over ten years of experience, it all began in her hometown Santa Barbara where she attended cosmetology school and received her license. She has developed into a versatile stylist behind the chair in balayage, coloring and cutting and although her skill set in the salon is well developed, her true passion lies in bridal and special occasion styling. In her experience, Jessica has become a versed stylist by surrounding herself with the best of the best. Her repertoire includes Vidal Sassoon Costa Mesa, San Francisco’s Seven Salon, and for the past four years, Koda Salon. During this time, she’s had the opportunity to style for several photo shoots including the San Diego Charger Girls in addition to working New York Fashion Week alongside some of the industry’s top names. Jessica believes that education is the foundation to success. She has thus attended numerous L’Oreal Professional educational classes including those offered at the London Academy. She has since had the opportunity to educate other stylists as a L’Oreal Professional Educational Artist on various of the methods she once learned herself, bringing her career full circle.

Some would say this year is nothing to celebrate, but I always try to look on the bright side of things.
This year was a growing year for me. It taught me what I am made of. It also taught me how to slow down and appreciate what I have.
I am fortunate to say I have come out of 2020 doing just fine. Although there were A LOT of mental breakdowns, I have my health, family, and the tremendous support of all of you!!
If I have not been able to tell you in person how much your support and concern for me meant this year, please know that it did not go unnoticed, and I am forever grateful!
Cheers to the Holidays and a little bubbly to make it sparkle! 2021 I'm comin for you!

Right before the shutdown, I got to work with the very talented to capture the essence of my new studio space! I cannot wait to share all of these goodies with you!!
This space has exceeded every expectation I had coming into this new chapter. It fills my heart with light and happiness when I see the photos of it!
Although I cannot be physically inside my space right now, I wanted to share a little piece of my happy place!

Dear 2020- do you have a return policy?!!
It looks like I will be granted some extra time to get ready for the big day!
Salon World Suites and myself are adhering to the shutdown. I hope that this is a short pause in order to guarantee we get to spend next Christmas with our loved ones!
For anyone who is looking for ways to help, please wear a mask and stay home. The best gift you can give a small business is to allow us to legally reopen, and we need numbers to drop in order to do so.
If you had an appointment booked between now and Christmas I will be reaching out to rebook for January!

How many times a week should I be shampooing?
Answer-
As many as you want! There is no golden number BUT (ideally every 3-4 days) And I try to steer clear of every day.
Your hair adapts to your beauty regimen for better or worse. When you shampoo every day your sebaceous glands start to produce more oils to protect your scalp from outside forces. Which in turn makes your hair oily more quickly.
This is why some of you will wash your hair in the AM and have an oily mess by 4 pm!
*GOOD NEWS*
It can also be reversed. It will take a while but if you can start to push your shampoos out longer just one day at a time, within about a month you can alter the production of oil allowing you to shampoo less often!
Winter will be here shortly and this is a great time to take the challenge and see if it works! Dry shampoo is a great way to start to push your shampoos out, as well as a great hat!
