Today marks five years since I took over Bliss Hair Design LLC.

When I look back, I don’t just see the long days, the lessons, the growing pains, or the countless twists and turns that come with owning a business. I see God’s hand faithfully leading me through every season. His grace has carried me farther than I could have ever gone on my own.

To my incredible stylists, thank you for standing beside me. To every client who has trusted us, encouraged us, and supported this dream—you are the heartbeat of Bliss. You have become so much more than appointments on a schedule; you’ve become part of our story.

To my family, thank you for carrying so much behind the scenes. Thank you for holding down our home, stepping in when I couldn’t, and helping care for the shop so I could continue pursuing this calling. None of this would have been possible without your sacrifices.

I still remember spending my very first anniversary in school, working toward becoming an esthetician. Looking back now, I’m reminded that growth often requires sacrifice, and every step has been worth it.

As I sit here between clients, looking out the windows at the sunshine, my heart is simply full of gratitude.

Today, I’m especially thankful for my late baby brother. Even in his passing, he left behind something that helped me continue providing for my children and gave me the opportunity to build this life. His legacy is woven into this journey, and I carry his memory with me every single day.

Five years later, my heart is full. God has been faithful through every mountain and valley, and I can’t wait to see what He has planned for the years ahead.
