Tenille & Elle

Heavenly Father,
We lift up the people of Jamaica in this moment of great trial.
We ask You to stretch out Your mighty hand of protection over every parish, every town and every home.
In the face of violent winds, torrential rain, swelling seas and flooding, be their shelter, their refuge, and their strength.

Guard the lives of families, children, elders and all who are vulnerable.
Protect their homes, their belongings, and the land they love.
Calm the storm, Lord, and bring peace and safety when the winds swirl and waters rise.

For those who must evacuate or are already displaced—give them comfort and clarity.
For those who remain—give them courage and confidence in Your presence.
May rescue workers, community leaders and neighbours act with wisdom, compassion and unity.

Bring healing where damage and loss occur.
Restore what is broken.
Provide provision for those in need—food, water, power, shelter, medical care.
Let Your love be evident in every act of kindness, every offered hand, and every moment of solidarity.

Grant us the vision to help one another.
Grant us the resources to rebuild and recover.
Most of all, grant us the faith to trust You even when the path ahead is uncertain.

We ask all this in Your name.
Amen.
