This is what makes soap… soap.
Up close, you’re watching chemistry happen.
Oils and fats meet an alkali, and through a process called saponification, they transform into something entirely new: real soap + naturally occurring glycerin.
It’s not a detergent base.
It’s not premade “soap” that we melt and pour.
It’s not liquid goop poured from a bottle.
It’s soap being made from scratch.
We choose the oils, butters, herbs, clays and botanicals. We mix every batch. We pour it. Cut it. Cure it. And give the chemistry the time it needs to do its thing.
There’s something pretty incredible about seeing it this close.
