It was such an honor to work on this fun Halloween project at the boys and girls club in Oneida TN! They supplied me with all the materials and all the teens had an absolute blast. I've always wanted to be apart of a project like this it's even cooler that I was in charge of Special FX Makeup. 4hours later Watching this come to life was such an incredible experience. I'm looking forward to next year's haunted house. I even had the pleasure to explain what a pro special fx artist does in that career field. Over all it was a good educational and informative experience as well as being super fun.

Working on fake scratches tonight

Something to keep in mind, when you hire a Professional whether it be for makeup, hair, photography, catering, artist of any kind or any other services. At the end of the day we all have bills to pay so if you plan to cancel please make sure to do that in advance and not the day before, day of or even the week of the upcoming event. Especially if we've been in contact for months, weeks, days just going over and planning all the details to make sure everything is perfect.

When you own a small business clientele plays a big part in our income especially when it's your full time job. If I go out of my way to make time for you and decline opportunities where I had potential income it makes things difficult when you cancel cause that's groceries, gas, a bill or rent that isn't being paid. So please be mindful when you book a service with me especially for a larger event. I understand life happens and sometimes cancellations are needed but from this point forward EVERYONE will be required to pay a deposit to book services with me that includes: Beauty Makeup, Special FX Makeup, Facepainting.

This post isn't targeted to a specific person I've just encountered the same problems multiple times over the course of a few months, weeks and I will no longer keep anyone on my schedule if you're going to waste not only my time but your time and not pay my deposit fees. From this point forward all larger events will require my contracts with signature this also includes birthday parties. Deposit Fees are nonrefundable and if you were suppose to pay the fee and didn't then you still will owe the fees especially when it was discussed prior to any scheduling of an event. Just because I'm a small on location business doesn't mean my job isn't relevant. If you wouldn't do it to your larger professional business owners then don't do it to your local small business owners who are active in your community.

I just wanted to inform everyone that at this time I will no longer be doing makeup in the salon. I will be embarking on a new life journey.
