I was out on the wrap-around porch early this morning with a warm mug of Wild Wealth herbal tea, watching the heavy fog just starting to lift across the homestead. As the gray broke, the morning dew revealed something truly magical hiding in plain sight. Scattered all around the property, glowing with tiny water droplets, were multiple Bowl and Doily spider webs.
I couldn't help but set my mug down, grab my camera, and reflect on the beautiful energy these tiny architects bring to the landscape. If you look closely at the architecture of this specific web, it is an absolute masterclass in balance, intention, and energetic wellness.

The delicate, upward-facing bowl acts as a woven chalice. It is a beautiful representation of the divine feminine—reminding us to stay open, receptive, and willing to hold space for the abundance the universe has to offer. But just beneath that receptive cup is the doily, a flat and highly protective sheet. It is nature's perfect visualization of establishing strong energetic boundaries. We can be deeply open and deeply healing for others, but we must also keep our own personal foundations protected, grounded, and safe from draining frequencies.

Then, there is the wild tangle of threads suspended high above the bowl. To the naked eye, it looks like pure chaos. Yet, it is purposefully designed to intercept exactly what is needed. It’s a gentle, quiet nudge from the earth to trust the unseen forces at work in our lives, knowing that the seemingly chaotic parts of our journey will naturally filter down the right resources and lessons at the perfect time.

I spent a long, quiet moment just sipping my tea and watching one of these master weavers hanging upside down beneath her bowl, completely surrendered to the present moment and observing her environment from an entirely shifted perspective. It was the perfect morning reminder to hold space, fiercely protect our energy, and completely trust the process.

The patterns in my iris show a 'mixed' or biliary constitution with a 'neurogenic' structure. In iridology, those distinct gold and rust patches point toward a need for liver and digestive support, while the wavy fibers indicate a quick-thinking but highly sensitive nervous system.

​We were so charmed by the little Gray Treefrog on our deck last time (you might remember our previous post about this little master of disguise!) that seeing another one peeking out from the grey siding feels like a truly special omen of abundance. This one is really showing off its camouflage abilities!

​At Wild Wealth, we often talk about the abundance that nature provides, and for us, these creatures are a source of 'wild wealth' in their own right. Their benefits are profound, but perhaps not in the way you might expect.

​Here’s why we value their presence:

​💧 A Living Water Report: Frogs are powerful bioindicators. Their skin is porous, making them highly sensitive to pollution in their environment. Finding not one, but two healthy treefrogs on our property is a clear, vibrant sign that our local ecosystem is clean and pure.

​Why does this matter to an apothecary? It means the water sources and the soil that nourish the wild-harvested plants we use are of the highest, most untainted quality. Their presence is a certificate of purity for the land and the medicines we craft. It’s a truly invaluable 'wild wealth'—a sign of deep ecological health that we work hard to protect.
