All jokes aside — it's true. Spravato (esketamine) affects your coordination for a few hours after treatment, so driving yourself just isn't safe.
Official safety guidelines and FDA rules require you to wait until the next day—after a full night of restful sleep—before driving or operating machinery.

What to expect after your session: you'll need a ride home — no exceptions there. Beyond that, we just encourage you to rest and recover, stay hydrated, eat lightly, and hold off on driving or operating machinery until after a good night's rest.
