Being a solo entrepreneur is the scariest & most liberating thing I’ve ever done. Now that I’m here, I can’t imagine what life would be like if I didn’t take the big leap. All those late nights with a brain full of ideas, just looking for a beautiful vessel to put them in. I am forever grateful for myself and all of you beautiful humans making this best of both worlds possible! Love you endlessly ✨💖🥹 almost 4 years into this dream turned reality!!

Did someone say weighted blanket? Yes please!

Weighted blankets personally help my body relax deeper when I’m feeling anxious, emotional, or just blah. If you’re having a day that feels like that, give the weighted blanket a try. 🤍✨☺️

I’m so over the phrase “no pain, no gain.”
When the body is wincing, shaking, muscle guarding, or holding its breath to push through a massage, that’s communication. The body is giving cues that something may feel too intense, too fast, or simply not supportive in that moment.
That’s why it’s so important to pause, breathe, and listen. What is the body trying to say?

I’ve found that the body often responds better when it feels safe, listened to, and not forced to “push through” discomfort. Bodywork should be adaptable, not something your body has to endure.

People often tell me, “You’re the expert, you know what you’re doing.” And while yes, I’m a licensed massage therapist, I’ve never lived a single second in your body.
The body is always communicating. My job is to listen to those cues, adapt, and work with your nervous system — not against it.

Listening and adapting in real time is an important part to therapeutic bodywork. 🫶✨🩵

I got a massage from a robot… and I loved it. 😳

On my recent trip to Denver, I decided to try out some new technology. I was greeted by the staff and guided into the treatment room, where they had my massage “outfit” laid out for me: a skin-tight long sleeve shirt and leggings.

Once I got settled face down on the table, I used the iPad underneath the face cradle to customize the whole session. I could select my goals, areas of extra focus, pressure, music, and even the screen “scenery.” It also gave a full breakdown of the session, including timing and techniques for each area of the body.

The robotic arms/knobs were heated (which honestly felt amazing), and the iPad mirrored where the arms were at all times throughout the massage. I could adjust the pressure whenever I wanted, too.

The Aescape technology worked on my back, hips/glutes, hamstrings, and calves. Sadly, scalp, face, neck, hands, arms, and feet weren’t available options — which makes me wonder if that’s to come in the future of robotic massage.

Would I do it again? Honestly… yes. For traveling, it was actually a really nice option. I got 30 minutes of bodywork without having to quickly build rapport with someone new I’d likely never see again. It felt easy, efficient, and surprisingly relaxing. Perfect quick recovery after multiple days spent hiking. A bonus is you’re guaranteed a quiet session.

*The video is just a small sped up portion of the massage, working on my hamstrings/calves.

Our Spring/Summer Hours! 🌞 🌱

A couple of months ago, I decided to make the switch and transition to having weekends off. I’ve worked weekends ever since my first job as an ice cream scooper, so I was a bit (more like very) nervous about not being available to clients during those times. However, everyone has been so understanding and supportive (as you always are!).

It feels really good to be at a place where I can enjoy weekends with friends and family/ community offerings. Thanks to you! 🧡
I hope to see you soon.

This photo may just look like a random camera roll photo of a massage table, on a rug, in a room…What this photo actually represents is years of hard work & dedication towards my career.

This is an investment in not only in my career right now, but my future as an LMT. This massage table is incredibly plush for clients to lay on, not to mention the many layers of cloud like cushioning added on after this photo was taken. The hydraulic lift of this table allows for my body Mechanix to really shine through in my work. Creating ease in my day to day work routines & clients wants/needs for their sessions.

The foot pedal to adjust the table height will take some getting used to for everyone, but I know it’ll be worth any hiccups or surprise table lifts that are to come.

Thank you for supporting my career & passion, because of you it gives me the opportunity to make investments like these.

Love you all more than words can say. ✨🙏💖
