This only took about 15 foils and the client asked me “so you’re not going to color what’s not in the foils?” Sometimes what you leave out is just as important as what you put in for a soft glowy seamless blend.

This client had a green ombre that was just a little too subtle for her so we decided to do block coloring for more impact and saturated color.

Sometime blonding can go a little too far. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture that is good lighting of how this clients hair originally turned out. The second I pulled the foils I knew I had put in too much blonde highlights so I warned her before I blowdried it and said in consideration to what we consulted on I may need to put in some lowlights. She actually ended up loving the extra blonde look but took me up on my offer to have her come back a week later solely for the reason she was curious how her color could look even better. So she came back and we put some depth back into the hair and the result were so satisfying! If you ever get your hair done and aren’t 100% satisfied you are always more than welcome to come in to tweak what we’ve done so long as it’s consistent with what was discussed in the consultation.

🍇🍇🍇 This is one of my favorite types of color to do, a really great foil balayage with vivid colors on top, a really great way to have more intense tones be very wearable.

This client sought to restore her natural gingery color that had become darker and more brown over time. A dimensional balayage was chosen for its ease of maintenance.
