Important Announcement to our guests:

As you may know, 2021 was very difficult for us personally and our family circumstances this year prompted us to reevaluate our priorities and recognize how important it is to be available and present with those we love. Our long term lease at Eddy Street is coming to an end so we knew this was the time to step back and take inventory of how we want to spend our time and how we can simplify things so we are more flexible to do the things we love. With that, I decided to work independently as a stylist and give up running what was once a very big dream for me. Dreams change and become bigger than we may have ever expected. As you know the bigger a business is the more difficult it is to pivot and change. Covid has required us to spend countless hours rescheduling hundreds of appointments and sometimes reschedule them again! Covid has also been a barrier in staffing the salon like many other service industries and food service businesses.

We’d like to take this opportunity to let you know we have decided NOT to renew our lease at Eddy St Commons and will close the doors to Nicholas J. Salon & Spa no later than March 31, when our long term lease expires. We have been so blessed and honored to serve this community and work with some of the most talented stylists over the past 17 years. We will be forever grateful for our guests we’ve served over the years and the people who worked so hard to serve them! Don’t worry, you will still see many of us working in local salons including myself- I plan to continue to serve my clientele for many years to come! (Details coming soon, I’m very excited!!)

If we can help you with this transition in scheduling with your stylist or reaching them, please let us know. (Some of us will remain in the salon until we close and will be continuing to serve the community until the end of March in our current space in Eddy St. Commons)
