Our salon's name is a combination of our four initials, S.T.R.Z., prounounced "Stars." Originally, it represented our theme, which was about the movies, movie stars and our love for both. We opened STRZ Salon in 2010, and after three different rented locations, we have moved our salon into our own home. We opened our salon door

Just in case this page goes blank, “META” is threatening to shut down our shop’s page due to a post that “infringed upon their rules?!?”
Well, being the most generic business page I could manage to create, this speaks volumes about freedom of speech in our country (I don’t even practice politics on our business page!).
If it happens, Zuckerberg can kiss my……! I’ll find a different platform, in the meantime. A better, truly free platform.

Just a quick update on our progress:
This was a major week for the two of us. Stan started the process of applying for business zoning over the phone this week. After a lengthy letter to the city planning department, our zoning has been approved! The building and fire departments will do a final walk-through inspection (praise the Lord!) when the shop is ready to go, and after they both sign off, we can obtain our city business license.
With framing and wiring already in place, we will be hooking up the sinks and toilet. It is then on to insulation, drywall and a dropped ceiling. Our time frame is to be opening for business after January 1, 2025. I think we are on course to be ready!

Stan Tackett is a master colorist with over 45 years' experience, and has worked with Framesi since its introduction to the United States. Richard Zinner is a leading nail technician with 26 years' experience, providing spa pedicures, O. P. I. Lacquer, LED Gel Polish, No-Light Gel Polish and natural nail manicures. Donna Bowers is a managing cosmetologist with over 30 years’ experience, and is a leading sales associate with the Rodan & Fields skin care line.
