Shelley Mendez came in with roots down to her ears and some very dry angry ends. We chatted about options and I pitched embracing her dark roots which she immediately shot down 😂 (been taking her bright ass blonde for 10 years now) we compromised and she trusted me to do a blend of her natural while keeping some natural blonde around her face and throughout. She told me not to take it personally when she left crying buttttttttt she left smiling and completely obsessed 🤩

Hello Everyone!

As we head into the 2026 school year, I wanted to share an important update regarding my salon hours. With Amelia starting kindergarten,( sniff sniff) I’ve decided to make some changes to allow for more time volunteering at school, being present with my children while they’re still young, and focusing more on family life at home.

Beginning with the new school season (August)
I will no longer be offering evening appointments.

My updated hours will be:
• Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
�• Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM�
• Every other Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

One of the hardest parts of my job is making changes that I know may impact some of my loyal clients. I understand these new hours may not work for everyone, and that truly breaks my heart. Please know how deeply I appreciate each and every one of you. Balancing life with three little ones has become increasingly busy, and this adjustment feels like the best decision for my family during this season of life.

For my teacher clients or those with occasional days off, holidays, or unique scheduling needs, please know I’m always happy to coordinate when possible. One blessing of owning my own business is having some flexibility, and I will continue to do my best to accommodate where I can.
