GUMMY BEARS!

These are soooo easy to make! I added 2.5 tbsp to this batch and they came out even more firm so you can play around with the texture!

Recipe:

1 cup of fruit (I used frozen)
1/3 cup water
2-3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp unflavoured gelatin
Optional lemon juice (I know I said zest in the video my bad)

In a sauce pan on medium heat place your fruit and water until the fruit is mushy. You can manually mash or use a blender to purée it. Add in lemon juice and honey and stir until combined. Remove from heat and add in gelatin and whisk until dissolved. If at any point the mixture starts to harden put it back on heat just be sure not to let it boil.

Place it into the molds and then into the fridge for a few hours. I find the texture is best when you remove it from the molds and let it sit in a container open to air in the fridge over night. It goes from jello like to gummy texture.

You can make this with any fruit you have! You can also try to sneak some veggies in there!

6 tablespoons honey

2. Gradually sprinkle the beef gelatin over the juice mixture, stirring constantly to prevent clumping.

3. Continue to heat the mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

4. Pour the mixture into gummy molds.

5. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until the gummies are set.
