I crocheted this heart for my mom for Valentines Day…instead of using fiber fill, I used my dearly departed grandmother’s old sock as stuffing. My mom practically cried when I gave it to her and explained how it was made. I have twin grandsons that are 6 months old and I’m a bit reluctant to use fiber fill stuffing for my crochet projects

Since yellow is my 4 year old granddaughter‘s favorite color, I decided to use that color mainly throughout the whole project, the front and back panels, as well as the sleeves are half double crochet(hdc) with the cuffs, edging, and pockets worked in hdc in the third loop. Although my target size was 4T/5T it ended up being closer to 5T which I’m OK with because that means she can wear it for a couple of years. She requested magnetic snap closures which I feel it’s perfect for a preschooler to maneuver. What do you think so far? 

I made this hexagon cardigan sweater with the Bluey and bingo motif for my granddaughter as a Christmas present and decided to add a matching hat to the mix… Do you think she will like it?
