Happy 10 year anniversary Allison! 

🎉 10 years ago on this day was when I felt like my journey as a stylist really began. It was my first day at Salon 769, where life would change for the better.

I had already tried fitting into 3 previous salons, but nothing felt 100% right. I worked in every environment you possibly could.

Funny thing is when I graduated i actually came here looking for my first job as a stylist but at the time was told to go out and get some experience under me and then come back in a few years to see where things were at.

So I did just that, & the timing was finally right. My cousin, who is more like a mother figure to me, opened her doors to taking me on & I couldn't be more grateful for that. I have learned so much from the girls here & we continue to learn from each other as this industry evolves.

I went from doing mostly cutting and being afraid to do much color to educating myself as a master colorist. I taught for a bit with some amazing people who have become friends. I started my own business & brand liftedlocks that brought me so many opportunities in my business.

But now, as my own business owner of the healthy hair creative, I've found what I'm really passionate about, and that's the best feeling ever! Leaning into helping people with healthy hair and scalps and low maintenance styles. But also, I am able to help my clients with their hair loss problems. This gives me the most joy.

So, to everyone who has been in my chair thru this whole journey, THANK YOU! Without your support, I wouldn't be where I am today.
