Local Friends…… this is a coordinated effort and it has blessed this group of young adults with so much already

I’m not sure if you are on Nextdoor or not….but I recently coordinated an effort to help
3 homeless young people living out of their vehicle behind the Pet Supermarket off of Morganton Rd.

They are 3 young people who have fallen on hard times, are looking for work, and between the 3 of them have 3 dogs and 1 kitten.

My post on NextDoor generated assistance from the community in the form of a mechanic volunteered his time to get their car running, and a few people came together to donate money which we used to purchase a new car battery, 4 nights in the Days Inn for the 3 and their animals, food, toiletries, laundry supplies, just the basics.

One of their dogs now has an issue and needs vet care…..probably mastitis (inflamed / infected ni**le) and we have only $100 left of what we’ve collected.

Suzann Beddingfield with Salon 165 in Southern Pines has joined forces with me and she is the point of contact collecting funds.

I’m reaching out to all my friends / neighbors / colleagues / dog lovers asking if you have anything you can donate - even $5.00 - it would be greatly appreciated.

Suzann and I are reaching out to our Vets to see if they will offer any kind of discount too.

As I will probably be taking the dog to the vet tomorrow.

If anyone can help continue to keep them in a hotel until we can secure housing that would be amazing!

It’s hard to believe that six years ago I took a huge leap of faith and went into business for myself! I am so blessed by so many that have afforded me the opportunity to be my own boss and to live my dream everyday! To my mentor Kim I could not have done it without you! As the holiday weekend approaches Kim and I wanted to extend a Merry Christmas to all of you! For those of you we won’t see before the new year may it bring everyone health and blessings as we begin a new chapter in 2022.
We will be closing on Thursday at the end of business until Tuesday am to spend some much needed time with family and friends

Good morning everyone!
There has been speculation that salons will be included in the Phase 2 of businesses on May 22 that are allowed to open! As soon as we are given concrete news we will be in touch! We are diligently following the news and will open as soon as we are giving the go ahead! We will be implementing an over abundance of sanitation and safety protocols not just for us but for you !
