When I was in school to become an Esthetician I was so afraid to do brows. Why??? Because brows are thee most important part of the face and I’m sure most women would agree so all I knew is I didn’t want to be that woman’s horror story for the rest of her life of that “one girl”that messed her brows up. 😂

But, I practiced and got my confidence and skills up and been gracing faces every since.

Fast forward to today. Y’all I’m honored to give women brows they absolutely love! The feeling I get when I hand a woman a mirror to look at her brows and she loves them is indescribable!

So I say all this to say, because I love to make women feel beautiful, I will be offering brow shaping as a complementary service this week!

Soooo just wanted to share one of my clients progress that is in my Acne Program.

The before and afters are about 6 weeks apart and she has already began to show a great change in her skin.

What has made her successful this far?
1. Regularly spaced treatments
2. Using the home care regimen I created for her with recommended products.
3. Modified her diet
4. Eating more fruits and veggies
5. Trusting the process

A couple weeks ago I hiked up a volcano 🌋 in Bali. The process to hike started at 1:30am. The goal was to get to the peak before the sun started to rise ⛅️ . It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and i thought I was in shape! Lol. So many times during the hike I wanted to quit. It was pitch black, rocky and super steep! I just wanted to turn around and go back but I didn’t. I’m glad I didn’t because when I got to the top, watching the sun rise right in front of me through clouds and fog was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen!!!! This whole experience reminded me of how when things get difficult it’s so easy to think about quitting but when you don’t and follow through the reward is worth it every time! So this is my reminder for all of us, DONT GIVE UP! The blessing is right on the other side!! Happy Hump Day! The last pic shows my over it face 😂

I have struggled and I mean struggled with acne the majority of my life and it hasn’t been fun.

My acne affected my self esteem so much it had me thinking so many negative things about myself including that my hygiene wasn’t good and the cause of my breakouts.

My acne affected my confidence and I was always trying to find ways to hide it because I felt ugly. Over time I felt others felt the same.

I used countless products and had many trips to the dermatologist with very little relief.

I remember talking to people and I could see their eyes moving all over my face looking at all the breakouts and that would cause me so much anxiety.

I didn’t want people looking at my skin when they talked to me. I didn’t want to take pictures with friends and especially not up close. Nah fam.

When I started Esthetics school is when my skin really started to clear up as I learned about skin anatomy and histology. Learning how products and ingredients work turned my skin around but I was still getting painful cystic acne (big pimples deep in the skin).

Once I finished school my skin went crazy again and I didn’t know why especially because I learned how to take care of my skin.

Finally I got referral from a friend for her dermatologist and after a few appointments she recommended an acne medication called Accutane that is really dangerous to take. It was the last stop for acne medications. Kind of a holy grail but a dangerous one. It was that important to me to clear my skin. I was overdue. The pros outweighed the cons for me at this point.

After a long hard 10 months on Accutane my skin was in a state where I felt more comfort to be in it.

Do I still get breakouts? Sometimes. However my skin is so much more manageable now.

So I say all this to say, I’m here to help you gain the confidence you need through healing your skin. I know what it’s like and I promise I can help you and if I can’t I’ll send you in the right direction.
