The AFTER is cute… but the before is what we need to talk about. 😭

Because once your natural nail gets to this point, I can make it look better, but I can’t magically undo the damage underneath….
When product is picked, peeled, over-filed or improperly removed, it can take layers of the natural nail plate with it. Now we’re dealing with a nail that’s thin, compromised and honestly… gives me a whole lot less to safely work with.

We can get stuck in this cycle:
*lifting → improper removal → thinner/compromised nails → poor adhesion & retention → more lifting → repeat 🔁 *
So how do we fix it? We stop the cycle.

For this set, I worked with the nail that was there, kept the length and structure appropriate for what the natural nail could SAFELY support, and gave her a hard gel overlay while we start growing that damage out. Because that’s the part people forget. I can make them look good again 😏 but I cannot put missing layers of your natural nail back. That part takes time.

Going forward, we properly remove the product, stop messing with any lifting at home, and adjust the maintenance schedule if we need to. You might want to be a 4 week client, but sometimes your nails are telling us 2–3! We listen to the nails. Can I work some magic? Clearly. 🤪 But the real goal is that every appointment gives me more healthy nail to work with, not less. ♥️

You guys know I couldn’t leave you hanging !!! You got your way and talked me into opening up some later appointments on Tuesdays. Don’t get too used to it though 😂 This schedule is temporary and will only run through October 27th!
