Why I love a weft + K-tip hybrid 🤍
You get the best of both worlds. Wefts give you that major fullness and density through the back, while K-tips allow me to customize the smaller areas where a weft just can’t go.
I use K-tips around the sides, hairline, and finer areas to fill in gaps, create movement, and make the entire install blend seamlessly. This means better coverage, more styling versatility, and no obvious “extension line” when you wear your hair up.
It’s not about adding the most hair — it’s about placing the right hair in the right places for a result that looks like it grew out of your head. 🤍

Wefts + K-tips for maximum fullness, length, and the most seamless blend 🤌🏼✨
For this install, we used wefts to create the majority of the density through the back, then strategically placed K-tips in the areas where a weft can’t comfortably or discreetly live.
Combining methods allows us to fill in the sides, customize around the hairline, and blend shorter or finer natural hair without overloading it with unnecessary weight.
The goal with extensions isn’t just MORE hair — it’s choosing the right method and placement for the client’s natural density, lifestyle, and desired result.
