WE’RE BUILDING A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED BRAND THAT GIVES BACK ONE HAIRCUT AT A TIME. ✂️🦈

SHARKEY’S DONATES A % OF EVERY HAIRCUT TO CHARITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. AND THE KIDS GET TO CHOOSE THE CHARITY OF THEIR CHOICE! ❤️❤️

*******

Years ago, Linda had an idea for Sharkey’s that had nothing to do with cutting hair.

She wanted to TEACH KIDS ABOUT GIVING BACK.

So we created a program where every child who gets a haircut at Sharkey’s gets to choose a charity, and a percentage of that haircut is donated to the organization they choose.

It’s a small part of the Sharkey’s experience, but over the years, those small choices have added up.

Through our partnership with HairToStay alone, Sharkey’s has donated more than $98,000 to help cancer patients access scalp cooling treatments.

And that’s just one of the many organizations our families have supported.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had a number of conversations about Sharkey’s, and one description of our brand kept coming up:

“IT’S A COMMUNITY BUSINESS.”

I loved hearing that because it’s exactly what Linda and I have always wanted Sharkey’s to be.

Our franchisees hire locally. They serve local families. They support their communities. And every day, the kids sitting in our chairs get a small opportunity to learn that doing business and doing good don’t have to be separate things.

We’ve grown a lot since Linda and I opened our first salon 24 years ago.

But the bigger we get, the more important that part of Sharkey’s becomes.

Because we’re not just trying to build more salons. We’re trying to build businesses that matter to the communities they call home.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Sharkey’s!

Today, we’re celebrating the hardworking people who make our communities and salons so special. ❤️

A special thank you to our amazing stylists and support staff who show up every day for our Sharkey’s families. We appreciate all that you do! ✨
