I'm so hungry I could eat a horse, but I decided to go with homemade Chicken Pot Pie...yum

Days 7 and 8 took longer to get to than expected. Our Spring weather has been, we'll just that spring. Springing forward into the 70s and then back down down down into the 30s. This is the winter that won't give up. All in all, my horse trailer farm stand is making progress, albeit a little slow.

Man, it sucks waiting for the weather to cooperate when you have an idea bursting to get out of your brain.
Finally, days 5 and 6.
I have no idea how much longer before my roadside farm stand opens, but you'll be the first to know.

I ran away from home. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I did find these.

How old are you when you're in 2nd grade, like 8? I was in 2nd when I bought this cookie book from the Weekly Reader. Do you remember the Weekly Reader? It was a little "newspaper" pamphlet sort of thing we would get about once a month or so, and it had an area on the back page where you could order books that were advertised in that months Weekly Reader. Well I bought this cookie book. As you can see, it has been well loved. I'm sure it's got all the ingredients to make peanut butter cookies on these two pages. I grew up with this book, and each one of my kids grew up with this book. If you've known me or my kids for very long, you've probably eaten cookies made from this book. I'm not going to tell you how old I am, but I've had this book for over 50 years. What do you still have from your childhood?

Just finished watching the Ruby Frankie mini series: Devil in the Family on Hulu. It is unbelievable how two seemingly good Latter Day Saint women could go so wrong. I'm so glad her son escaped and saved him and his sister.

Oh my gosh. Everett has parted his eyebrows to the side the past few days, and I'm dying. Every time I look at him, I can't help but LOL. It's so much funnier in person.

My East pink mountain sunsets never disappoint.

I met my new neighbors tonight. And of course I couldn't forget our beautiful mountains at sunset.
