Crafty Girl Wood Cuts and Quilts

This customer came all the way from Alaska to have me quilt this very cute quilt…..well, sort of. She was actually here to visit her family 😉, but her quilt is very cute and she chose ginger snap stitch design.

This is such a cute design for a baby quilt. I love the color combination, and the plushy soft minky on the back.

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a sign. This one has been one of my biggest (50x20) 😊. I’m excited about how it turned out, and I love the provincial stain!

I don’t always get asked to do a quilt from start to finish. This one was so fun, and turned out so cute. T-shirt quilts can feel a little bit scary, knit is so stretchy and can cause a lot of puckering. I used a stabilizer on the back of each square and that seemed to work great. The customer wanted it to be a little bit heavier so we decided to double up the batting. She chose geometric diamonds for the quilting design. I love how it turned out 🥰.

This is one of my favorites. This quilt has simple lines, it’s modern and the colors are very boho. So cute!

Here are some pics of my latest project. I had an interesting request from a customer. For her wedding she had people sign fabric instead of a book. They left cute messages to the bride and groom on squares of fabric which I then put into a quilt for her.
