Essential Oil 101:

What is that little plastic insert inside an essential oil bottle called?

It’s an or***ce reducer!

It helps dispense the oil one drop at a time instead of pouring out far more than you intended. 😂 They can also be replaced if one becomes damaged, gets lost or isn’t dispensing properly.

Tonight’s diffuser combination:

💜 3 drops Lavender
🌲 2 drops Cedarwood
🍊 2 drops Bergamot

Soft, woodsy and just citrusy enough. Perfect for an evening when the lights are low, the blanket is out and you’re officially done with the day.

Save this one for later. 💜

A little diffuser reminder: you can always add another drop, but you can’t take one back. 😉

Your blend doesn’t need 14 drops of oil to smell wonderful. Start with a few, give it a minute and add more if you want it stronger.

Diffuser size and room size matter too. What works beautifully in a large living room may be much too strong in a small bathroom.

How many drops do you normally use?

For the days when you want your house to feel like a cozy little coffee shop even if you're still wearing pajamas. ☕😂

1 Cardamom

I have to admit, a pretty roller bottle makes the whole DIY project more fun.

No apple essential oil required. 🍎😉

This combination gives me that warm apple orchard/cider kind of feeling:

3 Wild Orange
2 Cedarwood
1 Cinnamon
1 Ginger

This might be one of those blends I keep running all fall.

One of my favorite combinations when I want the whole room to just smell fresh.

🍋 3 drops Lemon
🌿 2 drops Rosemary
🌱 1 drop Peppermint

Simple blends are sometimes the best ones.
