Kidsland Salon was never just a business for me. It was always created with the intention to be part of the community and to support our kids whenever possible.

My clients who have been with me for years know that, through Kidsland, I always try to help, support, sponsor, donate, and be present for the families and children in our community. This has always been, and will always be, part of Kidsland’s purpose.

Most of the messages I receive from families after their visits are sent directly to me. They’re simple, heartfelt notes from parents sharing how their child felt, how the haircut went, or how comfortable their little one was.

They’re not written for attention, reviews, or the internet. They’re just real families sharing real experiences.

From time to time, I like to share a few of them because they truly represent what Kidsland is about.

I get asked all the time:

“What’s the most difficult kids haircut?”

Honestly? There isn’t one.

There’s no “most difficult child” and no haircut that bothers me. Every little personality is different and that’s what makes my job special.

But in my opinion, there is a hair type that requires extra precision.

Very fine. Very straight. Very light hair, like this one.

This type of hair is beautiful… but it’s unforgiving. Every snip shows. Every line is visible. And when you’re working with a little one who naturally moves (because they’re kids 💛), there’s no room for shortcuts.

If it’s not blended properly, you’ll see it immediately.

But when it’s done right? It looks seamless. Soft. Effortless.

Fine hair isn’t difficult.
It just requires the right hands.
