🍦 We All Scream For Rooibos Ice Cream! 🍦

Craving a unique and delicious treat? Try making your own Davidson's Rooibos Ice Cream! It's a delightful way to enjoy the rich, naturally sweet flavors of Rooibos in a cool, refreshing dessert. Perfect for summer indulgence!

What you'll need?
• 5 South African Rooibos teabags (5 tbsp Loose Leaf)
• 1 & 1/4 cup of milk
• 1 & 1/4 cup of cream
• 1 & 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup of Rooibos Syrup
• 1/2 cup of sugar
• 6 egg yolks
• 4 egg whites

How to do it?
• Heat the milk with Davidson’s South African Rooibos tea until almost boiling. Remove from the heat and discard the tea bags (or strain the leaves).
• Stir the cream, vanilla extract, Rooibos syrup, and sugar into the milk and return to the heat.
• Stir in egg yolks. Stirring continuously, bring the mixture almost to boiling point.
• Remove the saucepan from the heat. Set aside to cool completely.
• Beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold into the cooled mixture. Churn in an ice-cream machine till frozen. Keep in the freezer until serving.

South African Rooibos:
A subtle lemon and floral blend that combines honeybush, rooibos, lemongrass, lavender petals and calendula flowers.
