👁️ **Which eye is your dominant eye? Let’s find out!**
Make a small circle with your hands, like a camera lens. 🔍
Choose a distant object and look at it through the opening with **both eyes open**. Now, without moving your hands, close one eye at a time.
✨ The eye that keeps the object centered in the opening is typically your **dominant eye**.
Your dominant eye is simply the eye your brain tends to rely on more for certain visual tasks. And yes—it can be different from your dominant hand! 🙌
**Try it now, then comment below: “RIGHT” if your right eye is dominant, or “LEFT” if your left eye is dominant! 👇👁️**
✨ **The malaris is tiny—and for some people, it can be surprisingly difficult to feel!**
This small facial muscle varies quite a bit from person to person, so you may not immediately sense it when you first start practicing. That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. 💕
With **gentle, controlled movement and repetition**, you can become more aware of how your cheek muscles move and coordinate.
Don’t force it. Start small, stay relaxed, and let your face learn the movement. 🌸
**Can you feel your malaris working yet—or are you still searching for it? 👇**
✨ **Tiny muscle. Gentle activation. Big awareness.**
The **malaris** is a small facial muscle involved in cheek movement and expression. When you practice activating it, the key is **gentle, controlled movement—not force or tension.** 💕
You don’t need to squeeze, strain, or make a huge movement. Think **soft activation, relaxed surrounding muscles, and mindful control.**
Over time, this kind of practice can help you become more aware of how your mid-face muscles move and coordinate. 🌸
**Can you activate your cheek without tensing your jaw or eyes? Try it and tell me! 👇**
✨ **This tiny muscle can make a surprisingly big difference in how your face moves!**
Meet the **malaris**—a small facial muscle in the cheek area that participates in facial expression and works alongside other muscles of the midface. 💕
It may not look dramatic when you activate it, but **small, controlled movements can help you become more aware of how your cheek muscles coordinate.**
Instead of forcing a “lift,” think **gentle activation + relaxation + control.** 🌸
Your face doesn’t need bigger movements—it needs better awareness.
**Can you feel your cheek muscles working when you do this exercise? 👇**
✨ **Does your aegyosal area move when you do a Malaris exercise?**
Yes—**that can be totally normal!** 💕
We often talk about the **aegyosal** (the soft fullness under the eyes) and the **malaris region** separately, but facial expressions involve overlapping muscles and tissues. So when you activate one area, nearby areas can move along with it.
The goal isn’t to keep every part of your face perfectly isolated. Instead, focus on **gentle, controlled movement** and notice how your cheeks and under-eye area naturally coordinate. 🌸
No need to worry if your aegyosal moves too!
**Do you notice movement under your eyes when you activate your cheeks? 👀👇**
🦷 **Are your teeth touching right now?**
If your teeth are constantly touching when you’re not eating or speaking, your jaw muscles may be working more than they need to.
This habit—often called **Teeth Contact Habit (TCH)**—can contribute to jaw muscle tension and may aggravate discomfort for some people with TMJ/TMD.
✨ Try this instead:
**Lips gently together → tongue relaxed → teeth comfortably apart.**
You don’t need to force your jaw open. Just give those teeth a little rest. 💛
**Be honest… are your teeth touching right now? 👇**
💀 Bone smashing? **Absolutely not.**
But gentle facial massage can be a much safer way to explore facial awareness and relaxation. While the periosteum is the connective tissue surrounding bone, there isn't good evidence that pressing or stimulating it through facial massage boosts collagen or reshapes facial bones.
So skip the force and focus on **gentle touch, relaxed muscles, and consistent skincare**. Your face doesn't need to be “broken” to look its best. ✨
**Would you try gentle facial massage—or are you still tempted by bone-smashing trends? 👇**
Notice one cheek sitting higher or looking fuller than the other? 💆♀️✨
Before trying to physically “correct” your cheekbones, focus on what you can safely influence: **muscle tension, facial awareness, breathing, and posture.**
Try gentle facial massage and slow breathwork to help release areas that feel tight. The goal isn't to force your face into symmetry—it’s to encourage more balanced, relaxed movement.
**Which side of your face feels tighter or more active—the left or the right? 👇**
Fix your posture, thank yourself later. 🪑✨
Good posture isn't about sitting perfectly rigid all day. It's about finding a comfortable, supported position and changing positions regularly.
Try this quick posture check:
✔️ Feet supported
✔️ Shoulders relaxed
✔️ Screen near eye level
✔️ Head comfortably aligned over your body
✔️ Get up and move regularly
Small habits add up. 💛
**Be honest: how’s your posture right now—A) sitting tall, B) slightly slouched, or C) completely folded over your screen? 👇**
