When performing the facial, the esthetician will start by dipping one hand in a bowl of cold water (or ice cubes) and the other hand in a bowl of warm water. The esthetician will then remove both hands from the bowls of water and begin to massage the face. This contrasting hot and cold sensation will provide the client with a really unique experience.
