If you are not privy to M+M emails, you may have missed the bittersweet news that I have decided to focus 100% of my attention back to instructing.

While I have always worked Monday-Friday (and even some Saturdays) as a cosmetology instructor, the hard truth of that is that I can’t physically and mentally give what I need to give to my students while also devoting the time and attention needed to my clients, the salon, and everything that goes along with being a stylist behind the chair.

I want to say, “THANK YOU” to all of my clients and every single person who has trusted me with one of the most important accessories we get to wear every single day - our hair! You will never know how much it means to me that you shared intimate details about your life, your family, your friends, your travels, and your heartbreaks. I am so thankful that you felt a connection with me 🤍

While I am sad to walk away, I am happy to be able to take some things off of my plate as well as free up some evenings to be able to spend time with my husband, family, friends, and throw in some MUCH NEEDED me time!

What you, my client, can expect over the coming weeks:
+ My last day at M+M will be March 31, 2026
+ All scheduled appointments prior to 3/31/26 will remain as is
+ At your final appointment, I will pair you with a M+M stylist that I feel you will LOVE!!
+ Detailed notes about your hair history, formulations, and hair goals will be shared to ensure a seamless transition

Lighting (and not just the lighting inside the salon) can play a huge role in how you are feeling about your haircolor.

Many times I’ve had clients sit in my chair for a maintenance appointment and them say something to the effect of, “well now that I’m here it, it doesn’t look as ______ as I thought”. Fill in that blank with any color or feeling imaginable — gray, warm, yellow, red, cool, blonde, dark, dull, etc, etc.

Lighting in general can play tricks on our eyes. It doesn’t just have to be with hair. It could be that new foundation you bought, the paint color you loved in the store (but now hate in your living room), that new outfit from TJ Maxx that looked STUNNING in the fitting room.

A Seamless Grow Out® is a color that does not show a harsh line of demarcation as your hair color grows out.

I strive for every client to be able to go a MINIMUM of 12+ weeks between appointments. Ensuring that you only have to get your hair done because you want to, not because you have to!
